Their distinct personalities even make them able to work together very well. Hiccup is the safe player and Jack is the risk taker player. Hiccup is the brain and Jack is the muscle.
Because of that, Jack learned about dragons. Rule number one! Do not get near to dragon's egg. It's explosive.

They spend most of the time flying in the sky.
Who said we can't go outside on a snowy day? It's the best time to play outside for Jack, but Hiccup seems not too excited about that.
