I swear, I got a fetish for green eyes after seeing this (○゜ε^○) |
9x12 Warrior
"Bumpy day?" |
You can definitely tell what Oliver was there for. Why
do you think he was in Watchtower that night with a compound bow and a
bottle of single malt, even though he has his own training room at his
mansion? The seduction was there, but it was so subtle. Most of the time he
was being sincere. Chloe was the one woman Oliver wants to bond with
emotionally before they even get close physically.
"Not the smoothest. Someone asked me when the last time I had a good time was, and I didn't have an answer." |
"I don't think anyone can fault you for being on edge, Chloe." |
"Well, if anyone can relate, it's me. I get it." |
"Yeah, you can." |
"You know... sometimes you got to take your fun where you can get it." |
"And sometimes... it's right in front of your face. You just have to want to see it." |
"Come on." |
Chlo did simple things in a way that's somehow sexier because she's not trying to be sexy. Like when she walked across the room and shrugged off her jacket. It’s the
way you’d get up from bed and walk to the bathroom while your significant other
watches. The way she sipped her drink without breaking her gaze on Oliver also counts as natural sexiness.
"How do I know
when to let go?" "It's all about your heart." |
"Just listen, right there in between the beats." |
"That's when you let go." |
It was such a big milestone, it was the start of the romance that changed their lives, and in that moment the both knew what they wanted, and they listened, they opened up, no one else was around, it was just their feelings that were allowed to come out, after being so stressed for so long, and finally finding someone who understand them, and share feelings for them. It was about time they both found someone who'd accept and love them for who they are (´ヮ`)
I melted when Oliver said, "Sometimes, It's right in front of your face. You just have to want to see it." He was hinting about them and their feelings ( ´艸`)
The part about letting go was not so much about Clark, but about many things. It was about Chloe all tight and defensive after so much tragedy. So, it looked like Oliver was telling her, "You have seen me at my worst and have stuck with me. I am willing to do the same for you." It is also about life itself, about living with the tension of a great task and being responsible, and yet being able to take time off, to not control everything, to close your eyes for a stretch of time, even in the watchtower. That's called balance (˘‿˘)
Archery was a nice way to show us that Chloe needed and wanted to refocus her life. People make mistakes because they're focusing on their target and not on their actions. Chloe's approach to solving the problem and her way of handling things were pretty extreme lately. She hadn't fully stepped out of her tower, but she's getting there.
Their last on-screen appearance in this episode truly captured that moment.
The freaking adorable height difference. Ollie standing closely behind her, steadying her arm. Barefoot Chloe looking fabulous with her womanly curves. The matching color of his bow and her blouse. The night lights of Metropolis shining through the stained glass, reflecting its colors against the floor. There are so many good little things in one cap.
10x3 Supergirl
The archery lesson in Warrior had sent Chlolliers into frenzy. Finally, we got their flashback kiss. It's not just a kiss, it's THE FIRST KISS! It was worth the wait σ(≧ε≦o)
My screen's just exploded from the hotness.. Passion overdose.. How can you forget his arms?! Look at the way he totally engulfed her into his body and how she pulled him in closer, as though she couldn't get enough.
